Tonya Reid, MS
Coordinator, Division of Gender, Sexuality, and Health
Tonya is Coordinator of the Division of Gender, Sexuality, and Health which includes the Program for the Study of LGBT Health and the HIV Center of Clinical and Behavioral Studies at the New York State Psychiatric Institute / Columbia University Medical Center. She works in close collaboration with Dr. Anke A. Ehrhardt (Director) and Dr. Walter Bockting in coordinating programming for the Program for the Study of LGBT Health and is also the Coordinator for the HIV Center’s Development Core.
Tonya received her Master of Science degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, specializing in clinical work with multigenerational families. Prior to completing her degree, she contributed to public health research both at Columbia University for the Evaluation of Disease Management Programs and at the University of Connecticut Center for Public Health and Health Policy.
