CHLEW
Principal Investigator: Tonda Hughes, PhD
CHLEW (Chicago Health and Life Experiences of Women) is a 23-year long, landmark project focusing on sexual minority women (individuals who currently or previously identified as lesbian, bisexual, or queer women). The cohort counts over 450 women ranging in age from 18 to 84. More than half are women of color. The study investigates these women's health, and their attitudes, beliefs, problems, and relationships.
